Grilled radicchio or red cabbage

Take a head of radicchio - cut into quarters and drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Once grill is really hot (outside charcoal grill the best, but can be done inside on stovetop grill pan) Place the rad on the grill and sear until leaves are wilting and turning dark purple/brown. Not too much - you still want it kinda crunchy.
Dressing
In blender add (all to your taste, so I wont put amounts)
*Fresh basil leaves
*lemon juice
*olive oil
*garlic
*salt and pepper
and blend.
Take Rad. off the grill and chop - add dressing while still warm and ENJOY!! Its so beautiful - AND good for you….
